Dr. Chen’s team (Integrative Microfluidics in Biotechnology, IMB) in City University of Hong Kong is focused on developing integrative microfluidic devices for biomedical applications. Compared with most platforms using gene sequence for quantitative biology, the functional assay offers unique advantages for the rapid characterization of biological samples for diagnosis and timely precision medicine. Research focus: Microfluidics, Single Cell Analysis, Biological Screening, Smart Hydrogel Micro-captures.
